I am very grateful to have been invited to be a visiting artist at my alma mater, the glass department at Rochester Institute of Technology. For two weeks, I was working with David Schnuckel to continue our first collaborative body of work. I also gave a lecture about my artistic practice, the Pilchuck Glass School summer program (where I currently work as registrar and education coordinator), and did a demonstration of the pate de verre process. It is always a pleasure to go back.
At the end of September, I was invited to teach in place of my friend and colleague, Jon Chapman, in the glass department at UWSP. It was a pleasure to go back and work with the students and faculty.
